Copper Idea takes your privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information, and sets out the choices and rights available to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (collectively “CCPA”), and other applicable data-protection laws.

It is relevant to:

- users of third-party sites or apps that integrate our Services.

We do not intentionally collect data that directly identifies an individual unless you choose to provide it (e.g., by completing a contact form). We do not create user profiles for advertising, nor do we engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or higher age where required by law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
How We Collect Data

- Privacy-friendly analytics software that respects Do-Not-Track signals and does not use third-party cookies

Our primary servers are located in the European Union. If we transfer personal data to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms, and we implement additional safeguards where necessary.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes stated above:
- Contact and support records: up to 3 years after your last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law
- Log and analytics data: normally 14 months, then aggregated or deleted
Your Rights
Where provided by law, you may:

- Request rectification of inaccurate data
- Request erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already performed)
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., your local Data Protection Authority in the EEA or the ICO in the UK)
California residents also have the right to know what personal information we have collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; however, Copper Idea does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data, including:
- TLS encryption in transit
- Firewalls and access controls
- Regular software updates and vulnerability scanning

No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we continually review and enhance our safeguards.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and indicate the “Last modified” date. Material changes will be highlighted or otherwise communicated to give you the opportunity to review them before they take effect.
